Frankfort Prairie Park

The typically straight OPRT takes a small jog to the north in Frankfort, just east of White Street. The village swapped some land with a local lumberyard that straddled the railroad right-of-way and then relocated the trail so it looped through some vacant land.

In 2001, Frankfort built a trail access parking lot and is constructing a new park with an interpretative trail and a fishing pond on that formerly vacant land.
