Offered by the Forest Preserve District of Will County, these workdays are an opportunity for you to help restore natural areas within the county. Seasonal activities may include: seed collecting, brush removal, prairie planting, garbage pickup, and more. Workdays are usually from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Each workday will have a Forest Preserve representative to coordinate the morning's activities. Tools, gloves, and water are provided. Please dress for outdoor work. Participants may also want to pack a snack. Groups of 10 or more are asked to preregister so that there are enough tools. (Youth groups please have one adult/every five children.)
